A little bit about Ted Sun

Travel woke Ted up to his passion for photography. In a span of 5 years, he traveled across every continent, took tons of photos, and found joy in sharing stories; it became clear this is what he wanted to do – to connect through photography. Ted returned to LA (where he was born and raised) to begin this new venture in 2012. It wasn’t long before he was shooting editorial projects throughout the U.S., and internationally in cities like Rio, São Paulo, Bali, Bangkok and Seoul. He approaches each project with a sense of openness, adventure and investigation.

Before photography, Ted managed ad campaigns for 6 years in LA and NYC (agencies: GREY, DAILEY & BBDO). He then worked as a freelance videographer for several years in NYC. Ted graduated with a psychology degree from Princeton University, where he first explored visual art.

Ted loves to connect with other creatives, to collaborate and explore style, fashion and editorial stories; he is inspired by art and entertainment, and draws from his encyclopedic knowledge of music. As an avid yogi, and former collegiate track athlete, Ted is particularly drawn to working with sport, activewear and athletic form.
